Below we present you in details the route from Hania to Trikeri. As you know the roads in east Pelion are narrow and there’s no enough space to park your car.
Hania is the most high settlement in Pelion and it’s near the Ski Resort of Pelion Agriolefkes. Starting from Hania you turn right at the end of the settlement when you see a green sign that says ”farmakeio” (=drugstore). You will find yourself in Drakeia at 15 minutes drive. Drakeia is a small village at 500meters altitude. We chose to make a stop at the village and eat at the traditional tavern that you fwill find at the main square.
We continued the main road that heads to Agria. The road is easy and we continue the road in a beautiful scenery.
Agria is the next village and then the road is passing through the villages of central Pelion Milies, Agios Lavrentios, Vizitsa etc.
Villages that you will see next are Argalasti , Chorto, Milina. Milina is an organized tourist resort, hotels and rooms, taverns next to the wave and beach bar. From Argalasti you can also head to the beach of Potistika and village Lafkos.
Also a must stop visit is the gulf of Tzasteni.
Also worth a stop at the settlement of Kottes to taste delicious fish at the traditional fishtaverns next to the sea.
After 10 minutes drive you will find yourself at the village Trikeri with panoramic views to te Aegean Sea and Pagasiticos Gulf.
Just before entering Trikeri you will find the sign to turn right for Alogoporos and Paleo Trikeri islet.
Finally you can visit the port of Agia Kyriaki. Like the other villages of south Pelion you can eat fresh seafood by the sea at Agia Kyriaki’s taverns.
On the way back the sunset colors of Pagasitikos gulf will enchant you.
