The Folk Dance Festival for the second consecutive year organizes the Alonissos Cultural Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Alonissos, the OPAKDA, the Coast Alonissos Fund and the Region of Thessaly.
The lists of all the participants of the Second Festival of Traditional Dances Alonissos have been completed and 17 associations from all over Greece will honor the festival with their presence on 7,8,9 July.
Alonissos Cultural Association was founded in 2006 by a group of friends of culture and tradition. The aim of the association is the promotion of local customs and traditions through cultural activities, social and entertainment content. To Festival of Traditional Dances Alonissos is a nationwide meeting of dance groups from every corner of the map in order to highlight the traditional culture and folklore at a time when our cultural identity torn apart constantly.
