Magnesia has seven rocks which offer good and powerful routes. The rocks of Platanias, Pau and Mylopotamos are located on the eastern Magnesia at Mount Pilio and the remaining four are on the western at Mount Othris.
Platanias – with 18 routes
We find the rock southwest from Argalasti village and beside the Mikros beach. It’s suitable for climbing throughout the whole year and has 18 routes.
Cave Pau – with 16 routes
From Argalasti village we head towards the Pau beach. The rock is suitable for climbing throughout the whole year and has 16 routes, with a variety of difficulty levels from 5a to 8b. Nearby villages Argalasti, Lafkos
Mylopotamos – with 14 routes
The famous beach of Mylopotamos offers you, besides swimming, 14 routes with levels of difficulty from 5b to 7b. To reach the rock, you follow the road to the beach and, at the end of it, at the parking lot, you descend the stairs so you’ll find yourselves on its base.
