The canyon of Mega Rema is a small and also a beautiful canyon with many round podiums and rocks that have transformed like sculptures from the water. Canyoning at Mega Rema gorge takes about 1 hour, but the stream begins at 800 meters altitude to reach the Pamisos river at 200meters, while the entrance to the gorge is from the Agios Georgios Monastery at 350m.
The gorge begins as a ravine, but after a while reveals its beauty. The rocks and the slopes make their appearance, there is verticality and on the left stands the hill of Prophet Elias with the top of the Castle (700 m). The gorge has about 10 short rappers and a small flow of water in the summer. It also has a nice view to the Mouzaki climbing field.
Location: The gorge is located in the prefecture of Karditsa and very close to village Mouzaki.
