The biggest stone bridge in Thessaly located in Karia.
The stone arched bridge of Trizolos also known as “Kamara” is preserved in good condition and is located 3km. from the current bridge of Agorasia of Karya village to “Vaitsi”.
With a height of 15.5 meters and an arch opening of 30 meters, it is the largest single-arched stone bridge in Thessaly with a possible date of construction in the 13th century made of hewn limestone.
It bridges the Liaskovitiko river near Vaitsi, just below the confluence of the Anthiriotiko and Mesovouniotiko rivers (Platanias or Knisovitiko on the maps), both tributaries of the Acheloos.
Access is either from the main road that passes over the bridge via a difficult path, or riparian starting from Agorasia.
