The cave of Lego is located near the village of Desi at Trikala Prefecture, at Mount Chalikovouno at an altitude of 1450m. It is an horizontal cave that has steep slopes around the entrance and good access is done using rope. It belongs to Aspropotamos area and it’s located in southern Pindos. Nearby villages are: Pira, Neraidochori, Pertouli, Elati.
cave Description: The entrance has a large opening and is not affected by the level-quantity of water. The waters of the river expand a few meters after the entrance of the cave making a 3-meter waterfall at a place called “Goura Bantimari”.
The cave is accessed next by the river on dry floor in the first 15 meters and has beautiful decoration. The path of the water is less than a few meters and walking on rocks having no contact with water. Then the duct narrows and makes a turn, and is accessed through water having a depth of 1 meter. The river continues for another 30 measures at the end have a beautiful stone decoration. After a last turn the ceiling lowers and then it is impossible to continue. The whole journey lasts at about 70 meters.

Desi is located after the village Pyrrha. It is a small village of Aspropotamos area with few inhabitants. To find yourself in Desi continue the road from Elati to Pertouli Neraidochori and Pyrrha.
