The fishing villages of Pagasitikos in south Pelion is ideal to taste the local traditional crayfish spaghetti. The best known destinations for this dish is in Agia Kyriaki, in Trikeri, in settlement Kottes and finally in isalnd Paleo Trikeri. In these villages taverns by the sea with great views, cook special delicacies with specialties of crayfish spaghetti.

The basic materials for this traditional dish is:

1 kg scampi moderate in size
1 packet of spaghetti
1 carrot
1 chopped onion
1/2 bunch parsley
1 chopped tomato
chopped garlic
peppers (green and red)
Salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil, wine
grated Kefalotyri


Cut the heads of the prawns and put them to boil in a pot of water along with various chopped vegetables, peppers, salt and pepper and add the onion, garlic and finally add the olive oil to the mixture. Just boil all ingredients, add a little water and a little after the pasta in the broth that have turned the crawfish and boil all together.

We serve our spaghetti with crayfish and decorate the dish with fresh parsley and cheese.
