The first beaches you find after you leave Volos is the beach of Agria, in which you can find fishtaverns and cafe bars next to the sea, Platanidia beach with the ruined Olympian tower and the Neoclassical building of Kontos, Malaki beach with the impressive cave with the inner river that surrounds it, Sikia, Kato Gatzea, Kala Nera (Blue flag beach), Koropi beach, Lagoudi, Afissos and Lefokastro. A large beach with plenty of space and several taverns to eat next to the sea is a famous destination for families in Kala Nera. After you cross the central Pelion beaches you will find the villages and the beaches of southern Pelion such as the villages of Horto and Milina, the bay of Tzasteni with the small beautiful settlement that is reflected in the waters of Pagasitikos and the only road in the area leads us to the village of Kottes, to the villages of Agia Kyriaki and Trikeri, where one can enjoy the view both towards the Pagasitic and the Evoikos gulf.
