You can reach at the beaches of Larissa Prefecture at about 45 minutes by car or by bus. The most famous are Agiokampos, Velika, Rakopotamos and Platia Ammos. Find out more here.
Starting from south to north you will find the isolated beach of Milos Glimeni. Then you will find Rakopotamos beach and Papacosta coast. Two traditional small fishtaverns are located in Rakoporamos that offers fresh delicious fish.
Polidendri beach is the next one and then you will find Agiokampos, Sotiritsa and Velika beach. A seacoast of 13kilometers in length. These are organized beaches with beach bars with sunsbeds with no cost and taverns next to the sea at this area. Village Skiti is near the seacoast and offers unique views. Following the road you will find the more isolated beaches like Paliouria. An organized beach close to Paliouria is Koutsoupia in which you will find a beach bar with many visitors. Non-organized beaches are: Panagia, Tsiligiorgos, Kalivi and Psarolakas. At the end of valley of Tempe is the beach of Stomio. It's an organized beach close to the Peneus Delta. Many visitors with motorhomes choose to stay at the campsite in Stomio.
The beaches that follows are Alexandrini, Kastri and Mesagala.
